The Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited (TPC)

The Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited (TPC), a subsidiary of the Tourism Authority of Thailand under the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, issues a membership programme known as the Thailand Privilege Card.


Thailand Privilege Card’s membership program grants foreign nationals the privilege of residing in the country for a duration of up to 20 years. The Thailand Privilege Card’s membership program not only provides entry to the splendid gem of Southeast Asia but also offers a surplus of complimentary VIP benefits-and-privileges.

Attractive Tax Regime

Thailand's tax system offers favourable conditions for residents who spend more than 180 days in the country. Residents are only taxed on income derived from sources within Thailand and any foreign income remitted to Thailand in the same year.


This tax regime is highly advantageous, akin to those of Hong Kong and Singapore, particularly for individuals who are residents of Thailand and do not earn substantial income within the country.

Thailand Privilege Card offers a variety of membership options, ranging from the five (5)-year Gold Card (valued at THB 900,000 or approximately USD 25,000) to the twenty (20)-year Reserve Card (valued at THB 5 million or approximately USD 140,000).


With the membership, the members can enjoy a range of complimentary VIP services, including a 24-hour multilingual member contact centre and a dedicated Thailand Privilege personal assistant for expedited immigration and baggage claim.


Additionally, each membership category will accrue Privilege Points, members can redeem points for various services such as lounge access, hotel discounts, spa treatments, annual health checks, and assistance with opening a local bank account and obtaining a Thai driving license.

Thailand Privilege Programme

The membership cards are categorized into four (4) packages, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Reserve.

Reserve Card

The Reserve Card is exclusively available through invitation only and is limited to 100 individuals per year.


The membership is valid for 20 years with one-time THB 5 million membership fee, with an additional fee of THB 2 million for each dependant. Members can earn 120 accumulated points annually for redeeming various services. The primary member can share their membership points with other members.

Diamond

Who’s Qualify?

  • No imprisonment sentence (except for negligence-related offenses)
  • No bankruptcy adjudication
  • No severe mental disability declaration
  • No overstay of more than one (1) visa in Thailand in the past three (3) years
  • Allowed to stay in Thailand per immigration laws
  • Holding a foreign passport
  • Legally competent under Thai law

What documents are needed for the application?

  • Completed and signed application form
  • Completed and signed PDPA form (Personal Data Protection Act)
  • Copy of each applicant's passport biodata page
  • High-resolution colour passport-size photo or digital photo
  • Copy of any Thai visas and entry stamps in the passport
  • Passport must have a minimum validity of one (1) year and three (3) blank pages
  • Copy of birth certificate (for family applications)
  • Copy of marriage certificate (for family applications)
  • Translations of documents into English, notarized or certified by a translation company (including company stamp)

What are the steps in the application process?

  • Complete and sign the application form along with relevant supporting documents.
  • The processing and approval may take up to three (3) months.
  • Receive approval and a payment request.
  • Make the payment through bank transfer or credit card and provide proof of payment.
  • Receive a welcome letter from The Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited.
  • Schedule an appointment to have the Thailand Privilege visa affixed to the passport. Provide a copy of the welcome letter to the Member Contact Centre.

Long-Term Resident Visa (“LTR”)

Thailand is a sought-after location for foreigners looking to secure a long-term residence visa to cater to their personal requirements.

Long-Term Resident Visa (“LTR”)

On September 1, 2022, Thailand introduced the Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa program, which offers a Ten (10)-year visa to foreigners who wish to live and work in the country.


The program aims to attract more foreign residents and stimulate investment in Thailand. It provides a long-term option for those who want to establish permanent residency in the country, enjoy its culture and lifestyle, and contribute to its economy through business and employment opportunities.

Spouses and dependents of LTR visa holders are also eligible for the same visa.


The requirements vary depending on the applicant's category, but generally include a minimum personal income of US$ 80,000 per year, investment in Thailand, and health insurance coverage.


Benefits of the LTR visa include a 10-year renewable residence visa, reduced personal income tax, authorization to work in Thailand, and a fast-track procedure at international airports.


LTR visa holders can also enjoy One (1) year of immigration registration instead of the usual 90 days and the removal of the requirement for employers to hire Four (4) Thai citizens per foreigner.
